Step 6: ID Assignment For Resource Strings <--Back Next -->

The last remaining step is to specify what starting resource ID you would like to assign to the new resource strings. A range of available Base Resource ID numbers is shown so that you can easily specified where the new strings should be placed in the Resource file. If a resource file was imported, all the available slots that are large enough to accommodate the number of new strings is shown. If you are unsure about what base ID number to use, just use the default number that was automatically selected at the top of the list.

Ok, you are finally ready to extract all occurrences of appropriate strings, create a .RES resource file containing these strings, and replace the strings with a LoadResString() function. Clicking the "Finish" button will initiate string extraction.
